Brittney WilliamsBrittney Williams is currently in her twenty-forth year of teaching. This is her tenth year to hold the position of Head Band Director at Evans Middle School in McKinney, TX. Under her direction the Honors Band earned sweepstakes rating at UIL concert/sightreading contest, and first division ratings at local festivals, where the band earned "outstanding band" awards. The Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and Beginner Bands also received first division ratings at their competitions. In 2019, the Honors Band was named a Commended Winner in the Mark of Excellence National Wind Band Honors Competition.
Before she accepted this position, Mrs. Williams was the assistant band director at Faubion Middle School in McKinney for 5 years. During her time at Faubion, the Symphonic II Band received several superior ratings and each year has placed in the top three at the Beach Within Reach Band Festival. The Symphonic I Band placed 9th in the CCC Texas Honor Band competition, placed 2nd in the CC Texas Honor Band competition, and was invited to perform at the Midwest Clinic and Convention in Chicago. Prior to her positions in McKinney, she worked at Byrd Middle School in Duncanville ISD where the Symphonic I Band placed 1st in the CCC State Honor Band competition. Mrs. Williams has also held similar positions in Arlington, Plano, and Waxahachie. Mrs. Williams holds a Bachelors Degree in music education from West Texas A&M University. Her professional affiliations include Texas Music Educators Association, and Texas Bandmasters Association. Mrs. Williams is currently residing in McKinney with her husband Gary, her daughter Olivia, son Joshua, and two dogs Missy and Zoey. |
Ryan RambuschRyan Rambusch is in his sixth year teaching and his third year at Evans Middle School. During his time at Evans Middle School, he has conducted the Symphonic Band which earned the Sweepstakes rating at UIL and first division ratings at local band festivals. He also taught the beginner trombone, trumpet, french horn, oboe and bassoon classes.
Prior to Evans, Mr. Rambusch began his teaching career at Pearland East Junior High in Pearland, TX. During his time at Pearland East, the Symphonic Band consistently received sweepstakes ratings at the UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation. Mr. Rambusch grew up in Round Rock, TX where he graduated from Cedar Ridge High School. After high school, Mr. Rambusch attended school at the University of Houston. While in Houston he had the opportunity to work with bands throughout the area. Mr. Rambusch currently lives in Frisco, TX. In his free time he enjoys playing video games and playing tuba! |
